Ford Value Enhancement Plan (VEP) Case Study

Abstract: This 7 page paper is based on a case study supplied by the student. In 2000 Ford introduced a value enhancement plan which included the distribution of additional shares and potential cash payments to shareholders. The paper looks at the situation, the problem the company itself, the alternatives that were available and assess of those alternatives before coming to a conclusion regarding whether or not the chosen solution was correct.
