Questions on Capital Structure

Abstract: This 6 page paper looks at issues concerning the capital structure of an organization. The first question was at the advantages and disadvantages of debt, the second question considers the impact this may have on the cost of debt, the third question discusses the potential for an optimal level of capital considering the ideas of Modigliani and Miller. The last part of the paper considers the potential approach to be adopted towards the debt and equity ratio by three different companies; Adobe T-Mobile and FedEx. The bibliography cites 5 sources.
