World Peace / A Presently More Attainable Goal

Abstract: A 5 page paper describing present world conditions in comparison with those of the Cold War era. The world today is in a much safer position than it was just a few years ago. With nuclear war ceasing to hang precariously overhead the world is free to pay closer attention to other global problems such as poverty, hunger, drug smuggling, and terrorism. The planet is more likely to work together now more than ever before in its struggle for world peace. Bibliography included.
