What Is Sustainable Development ?

Abstract: A 5 page overview-- explaining the concept of "sustainable development" -- A U.N. supported mandate in which countries of the world participate in recognizing that we all share the planet and its natural resources. Sustainable development inherently calls for the preservation of air quality, water, land, animals, etc; The writer is actually extremely critical of the concept-- arguing that it does little for the environment and then leaves the "bill" to be paid by future generations.
