The 'Cecchini Report' to Now

Abstract: A 5 page paper in which the writer examines the the 'Cecchini Report' which stems from a study published by the European Commission in 1988. It supports the financial unification of the European Common Market and summarily states that the way that the program may be most effective is through the removal of border controls, the opening up of major public purchasing power, and the liberalization of financial services. The current implications of the 'euro-dollar' are also discussed. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
