The Euro & A Global Environment

Abstract: A 6 page examination of the move towards a common currency in Europe called the Euro. Issues discussed include the benefits of the Euro in regards to a world currency and also world unification. The current situation is discussed, in that the euro will be fully in effect on January 1, 1999, as well as the impact this reality will have on the economic situations of investors. It is assumed that if this monetary combination succeeds, it would not. perhaps, be out of the question to assume such would also work on a global scale. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
