Dogs & Men / Compare and Contrast

Abstract: 5 pages in length. Men have been compared with a number of animals to describe the various and sundry characteristics they display. Found high on this list of nature's creatures connected with a male's less than reputable side are the skunk, rat, vulture and perhaps the most beloved of all, the dog. How man's best friend ever came to be entangled with representing the bad side of humanity continues to be a mystery, but when a man has been particularly misbehaved, he is immediately branded a dog. The writer discusses whether there may be more to it than meets the eye by comparing and contrasting dogs and men. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
