Uniform Computer Information Transaction Act

Abstract: An 18 page paper which discusses the Uniform Computer Information Transaction Act. This particular law is to be voted on in July of this year. It has many individuals, as well as corporations, greatly concerned as it limits the use of software that is available through the many different types of vendors. While it is generally agreed that there should be some sort of legislative action taking place, which controls computers and all technology that is linked with computers, most people feel that this particular act is not the answer to any serious concerns. A detailed description of the proposed act is provided, as well as a section covering all the possible implications that may effect the consumer and corporate America in general.
