The Media's Negative Impact On Homelessness

Abstract: 7 pages in length. The plight of the homeless is one that can be witnessed every day of every year in just about every city in the world. They have already been dealt a challenging hand that has landed them without homes, income or a way to meet the very basic necessities of life. Making a bad situation even worse is the negative impact the media's coverage has upon the already struggling community. The writer discusses the various ways the media negatively impact homelessness, as well as analyzes the change of sympathetic views from the 1980's to the 1990's. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
