Pricing Strategies

Abstract: When considering pricing strategies the components of cost, competitor considerations, strategic goals, and member usage patterns for all products, not just a single product, must be taken into account. This 3 page paper addresses pricing strategies. There are several strategies for pricing products and services, including functional cost analysis; Cost accounting; a structured approach to price setting; diversity pricing; intuitive pricing changes; incorporating competitors' pricing into internal pricing decisions; detailed transactional analysis incorporates activity at the consumer level by product type; and consumer usage analysis.
