John and Mary Farmer Case Study

Abstract: This 4 page paper is based on a case study supplied by the student. Answering three questions the first part of the paper looks at whether or not activity based accounting methods would be suitable for agricultural businesses such as farms, the second part of the paper discusses potentially bad decisions that may be made where activity based accounting is not used and the last part of the paper reviews an article that supports the use of activity based accounting of fixed/variable cost accounting.
