Civil War Photography

Abstract: 3 pages in length. Photography during the Civil War is wholly unrecognizable from the significant advances of today's digital age; no more was it a simple click of a camera lens than it was instantaneous in development. In fact, the significance of this process was that capturing just one picture required the collective efforts of two people, one to mix and pour chemicals onto a glass plate and the other to pose and focus the shot.
