Crash, A Cinematic Parable

Abstract: A 3 page film review of the movie Crash. Parables are narratives that convey a moral meaning that usually encompasses specific aspects of the nature of a society and its moral and social norms. In the film Crash (2005, directed by Paul Haggis), the audience is presented with a present day cinematic parable that dramatizes several different story lines and the ways in which no segment of contemporary American society is separate from the collective whole.
