John and Mary Farmer Case Study

Abstract: This 3 page paper looks at a case study supplied by the student where a farmer wants to use cost centers in order to increase his understanding of the costs that are incurred by different crops on his farm and compare them with another farm. The way that this system may add value is considered and the benefits of using activity based costing rather than absorption costing is discussed. The bibliography cites 4 sources.
