Abstract: This five-page paper is preparatory work for a study into the performance of steel the industry in the United States, focusing on three steel companies; The United States Steel Corporation, China Precision Steel Inc. and Acrelor Mittal. The paper presents an executive summary which will be used as the basis for the larger paper, a proposed table of contents and justification regarding the reasons behind the choice of three steel companies selected for an in depth analysis.
