California's central coast is home to the San Luis Obispo County is located which encompasses just over thirty-three hundred square miles that house a number of recreational- and tourist-related characteristics, not the least of which is one of the nation's largest and most uniquely recognizable castles built by newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst. With a current estimated population of just under twenty-seven thousand people - up approximately one thousand residents from 2006 - the projected number is anticipated to be nearly two hundred ninety-four thousand by the year 2020.
