ENVIRONMENTAL PLAN

Abstract: 16 pages in length. The writer has been hired as a consultant to a pro-environmental group called Environmental Action and Restoration of The Habitat (EARTH), a group that is working with neighborhoods and communities to help them design and establish successful local programs to help save the environment. They want help designing a program for Abbottsville, a residential community of approx. 25,000 people located about 15 miles outside a city with a population of about 1 million. This community has identified three needs one of which is to improve recycling. Although the members of EARTH have a general background in the sciences, they rely on consultants to help them integrate information from the natural and behavioral sciences when designing programs. The writer analyzes the components this community needs and proposes a program that is likely to be successful. Bibliography lists 15 sources.
