Abstract: 8 pages in length. An interesting and enlightening paper that examines the history and research of the dual-income family and how it relates to the marriage partners, the workplace and the family. With the advent of dual-income marriages taking precedence over those with only one breadwinner, one would think the primary focus here is the financial one. Contrary to popular opinion, the primary concern in the dual-income family is the division of chores and the inner conflict as to who has the most important income in the house.
