Costing Systems at Huge Company

Abstract: A 9 page paper examining production costs at Huge Company and developing an alternative costing system that better reflects the true costs of operation according to job type and machine type. The paper calculates costs under the existing system and then under the proposed alternative system, concluding with a literature-based discussion of how Huge Company can use the resulting information to perform with greater efficiency and profitability.
