The Nez Perce
Abstract: A 7 page overview of the impacts endured by the Nez Perce at the hands of the white encroachers to their lands. Starting with the initial contact made with the Nez Perce made by the Lewis and Clark expedition, this paper ends with Chief Joseph's surrender at the end of his and his people's 1500 mile eastward journey towards the Canadian border.
