How Drug Laws Have Reduced Crime in New York

Abstract: In 5 pages the author discusses how drug laws have reduced crime in New York. The past few years have seen a war on drugs. This war is taking place all across the nation. New York is no different. There have been laws enacted in New York that have cracked down on drugs. Anti-drug legislation, such as this, has helped to curb the availability of drugs. Before these laws were enacted, drugs were more readily available. Now that such laws have taken effect, the availability of drugs has decreased. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
