Rising Gas Prices: Causes and Impacts

Abstract: A 4 page examination of the causative factors in the escalating gasoline prices. The author explores domestic and foreign factors to conclude that in reality there is a multiplicity of reasons but that the real reason is supply and demand. Our continued dependence on oil has put control in the hands of the refineries and the middle class is the hardest hit in the scenario that emerges. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
