Thermal Formed Fiber

Abstract: A 5 page paper discussing the benefits of some of the applications of this form of molded pulp. Stabilizing and molded packing materials of thermal formed pulp are not pristine white Styrofoam pieces, but rather similar structures in brown or nondescript gray, consisting of a material that resembles the beginning material of molded fiber egg cartons. Unlike its Styrofoam precursor, this material is fully recyclable into other useful products and can have advantages of its own, such as avoiding static electricity concerns in conjunction with electronic products or components.
