Abstract: This 8 page paper examines the music industry and how it has spawned various subcultures. Hip hop is the focus of the paper but other genres are explored. Marilyn Manson, Ozzy Osbourne and Connor Oberst and others, who seem to have made an impression on society, are each discussed. The music subcultures are analyzed. Bibliography lists 8 sources.
