The Federal Reserve System

Abstract: An 11 page paper discussing the Federal Reserve System; what it is, what it does, its history, and where it is likely to go in the future. The economic situation today if far different than the one prior to the implementation of the Federal Reserve System. Previously the United States economy was very fragile and prone to major disruptions, effecting most businesses. Since the implementation of the Federal Reserve System, in the early 20th century, the economic stability has increased dramatically, though it is by no means perfect. Despite it success, overall, the future holds many challenges which the Federal Reserve System must seriously address. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
