Assessing the Commercial Value of Expanding into Canada

Abstract: A 6 page paper discussing the advisability of a US air pollution control systems manufacturer of expanding into Canada. The lessons of urban sprawl and the effects of air pollution felt by their Southern neighbors has not been lost on Canada, and the country is increasing initiatives to curb existing sources of air pollution and prevent additional ones while being careful not to be overburdensome in their regulations as the economy continues to expand. Included are discussions of the current situation, new pollution-limiting regulations, profitability issues and the level of cooperation between the two governments in issues of trade.
