The Cost Of Major League Entertainment

Abstract: This is a 5 page paper that presents the economic realities of public funding for the construction of sport stadiums. It gives a short history of past funding sources. It then gives an overview of the costs incurred and explores examples of funding that was approved after the voters rejected the proposals. It concludes by citing the example of Green Bay, Wisconsin and their non-profit status as an alternative. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
