How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days/Film Analysis

Abstract: A 3 page movie review of How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days (2003, Paramount Pictures, directed by Donald Petrie) starring Matthew McConaughey as Ben and Kate Hudson as Andie. These are pretty people and capable actors. The viewer wants to like them and to root for them to fall in love, but the falsity of the premise of the film turns these two very likeable people into schmucks that the viewer wants to drop-kick rather than become emotionally involved in their juvenile tale.
