The Growing Problem of Obesity Among Our Nation's Children

Abstract: A 10 page overview of the problem of child obesity. The author points the finger at television and corporate advertising, both of which serve to lead our children into sedentary lifestyles and poor nutritional habits. The key to this problem, however, is parents. Parents must take a more active role in their children's lives and not be so ready to place them in front of the electronic baby-sitter.
