Abstract: A 7 page overview of the many considerations involved in the efficient address of hazardous waste spills. The author reviews some of the problems encountered in a spill and emphasizes that while the EPA serves as the lead agency in such events, specific local procedures should be in place in order to deal with a hazardous waste spill. The key to dealing with hazardous waste spills is to have people working as a team rather than as disassociated entities.
