Ways To Reduce The Use Of Forest Products In Order To Save Trees

Abstract: 5 pages in length. Damage done by deforestation for the benefit of man's consumables has created a seemingly irreversible perpetuation of environmental loss; the demand for wood products does not allow for any respite in the number of trees cut down for human demand. As such, the forests are not-so-slowly declining in number and density, two conditions that -- if left unchanged -- will weigh heavily upon survival of the entire planet. Finding alternative, non-wood products has become a critical component in the struggle to preserve -- and re-establish -- the fragile forests. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
