Baseball v. Football

Abstract: A 3 page research paper that discusses the history of baseball and football and the perception that baseball is a more rural game, a more traditional game than football. Football is pictured as being faster, tougher, more urban, and, simply, more modern than the sport once deemed the "national past time." An examination of sports history demonstrates how these perceptions originated and that their validity is largely no longer applicable to these sports today. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
