An Ethical Argument Against Aggressive Tobacco Marketing

Abstract: A 5 page argument outlining the health impacts of tobacco. The author discusses these impacts in light of the fact that the tobacco industry continues to play a large role in American society. Not only is a significant percentage of our population addicted to tobacco, the industry provides jobs for countless others and wields phenomenal political power. This paper condemns past tendencies of the tobacco companies to aggressively market tobacco to young girls, some of the most vulnerable members of our society. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
