The Story of Anne: A Structured Life Changed

Abstract: This is a 10 page original story about a rigid and cynical woman named Anne who after years of self discipline and running her life and the lives of her family finds herself confronted with a violent act which changes her life and her actions forever. Anne, as a probation officer becomes too close with a client she believes she has changed and asks him to help with chores at her house. The client ends up raping her daughter which changes the course of their lives forever. The story is told in third person, has a descriptive beginning, turning point and an end with effective dialogue used to highlight the characters.
