Abstract: 14 pages in length. Geotextiles play an integral role in the manner by which society works harmoniously with the ground's inherent characteristics. That a multitude of situations arise where geotextiles are utilized in order to maintain the earth's integrity speaks to the nature of upholding its fundamental composition while at the same time making it workable for man's ongoing needs.
