Abstract: 6 pages. Information systems can fail for many reasons and because of this it is sometimes a difficult task to quickly determine the cause of the problem. Businesses cannot afford major downtime of their information systems, and for this reason it has been found helpful to have hybrid managers on hand to help troubleshoot problems. This paper explains why people with knowledge in specialized fields such as finance in addition to information technology can spot problems more quickly and prevent failures before they start.
