The Impact of Wearing a Seatbelt; A Statistical Analysis

Abstract: This 10 page paper takes an objective look at the statistics that result from the increased use of seatbelts. Using a wide range of data from a number of countries the statistical analysis indicated increased seatbelt usage also increases the accident rates, despite the increased protection it provides. Data included looks at accidents to drivers, passengers, pedestrians and other road users. The bibliography cites 9 sources.
