Credit Management: The Creditor's Perspective

Abstract: A 7 page paper discussing the perplexing possibilities of the origins and disposition of high consumer debt since the turn of the century. The landscape that currently exists is one not easily managed or navigated by credit managers. The much-touted recession now is being said to have been a phantom of everyone's imagination. Though other leading indicators have improved, layoffs continue to increase. In conditions such as these, the function of the credit manager can be seen as being socially significant.
