Violence in Sports

Abstract: 5 pages in length. Statistics show us that violence in sports is on the rise both on and off the field. This is itself is not surprising, but what might be of more shock is the fact that this violence is not only condoned but actually encouraged in some sports. This well-written paper looks at what action is being taken and whether it can really help deter the violence that is becoming more evident in sports today. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
