California: Image Appeal

Abstract: 6 pages in length. The image of California that Disneyland seeks to reflect is one of lightheartedness, fun and adventure, as well as instilling a sense of equity to all living beings; targeting tourists, migrants, laborers and other non-residents, this particular image of California promotes family togetherness and of camaraderie between and among strangers. The student will note that this message, which is aimed at every single person from all age groups and walks of life, is shaped by Disneyland's welcoming and highly approachable style.
