On Job Training Alternatives

Abstract: A 21 page paper that includes tutorial suggestions. On job training is any training that occurs during employment. This paper begins with data regarding training in corporate America, e.g., the amount spent on training annually; the paper then discusses specific on job training models - E-training; mentoring, and on-the-job training (OJT). Specific examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of each of these models. Bibliography lists 12 sources.
