Theories of Justice/Rawls v. Nozick

Abstract: A 5 page essay that contrasts and compares the economic theories of John Rawls and Robert Nozick. Rawls and Nozick have formulated ideologies that are diametrically opposed. Rawls in his book A Theory of Justice creates an egalitarian approach to economic justice, while Nozick, in his writing, represents a libertarian perspective. The writer argues that an examination of both viewpoints shows that while each author presents valid points, Rawls presents the superior argument. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
