Bankruptcy Reform

Abstract: An 11 page paper discussing the most recent measures for reforming bankruptcy laws. The effort has been well-funded by large issuers of unsecured debt, the purpose has been to require more filers to choose Chapter 13 rather than Chapter 7. The paper explains Chapters 7, 11 and 13 before outlining the actions of Congress making filing more difficult. Bibliography lists 11 sources.
