Starting an International Business in China

Abstract: 6 pages. Because of the number of consumers in China - approximately one billion people - as well as market policies that were introduced to the People's Republic of China in the late 1980's by Deng Xiaoping, American companies are flocking to China in hopes of making their fortunes there. While American companies can sell to China, buy from China, and do everything they need to do to own a successful business there, the business sector in China is booming. However, there are some pitfalls to avoid as well. This paper will introduce both the advantages as well as the disadvantages to the international business market in China.
