Sports' and Television's Coevolution

Abstract: A 10 page paper discussing the concurrent path that sports and television have traveled over the years to arrive at current conditions. The future of the sports-TV connection stands at the brink of change that could rival the influence that each has had on the other in the past 50 years. TV needed to persist as people caught up with technology and put those 10" black and white sets in their homes; it now will need to do the same as it waits for viewers to become enamored of digital, interactive TV.
