Lightning and Horses

Abstract: A 5 page creative writing exercise detailing a woman's determination to take part in a family trail ride despite her irrational fear of horses. The woman was trained to fear storms and determined not to pass the fear along to her daughters. She is an animal lover and her fear of horses baffles her. She does make it into the saddle, and she eventually is able to turn her focus to her daughter, who has developed a oneness with her rented horse that belies their short acquaintance. No sources.
