Abstract: In his 1998 book, The Ecology of Fear and the Imagination of Disaster by Mike Davis, the Plagues of Biblical Egypt sound like a cakewalk compared to the geography of disasters that are waiting to happen in that unique "paradise by the sea," that calls its self Los Angles.
