Abstract: A 15 page paper that investigates the dramatic drop in the Athens exchange in 2000. The questions that are addressed here is why the financial crisis happened in the first place and whether or not the crisis was due to an efficient or inefficient market. Data regarding the economic condition of Greece are presented. The writer then discusses some of the reasons for the drop in prices and suggests ac conclusion. Bibliography lists 8 sources.
