Florida Beach Erosion

Abstract: A 6 page research paper that examines the erosion of Florida's beaches, how it occurs and what is being done to offset it. The writer argues that while officials, on the local, state and national level, are concerned about this problem, an examination of the forces behind beach erosion demonstrates that there is only so much that technology can do. In the final evaluation, humanity still is at the mercy of nature concerning this issue and can only hope to offset, rather then alter, the forces that cause beach erosion.
