Interest Rate Issues

Abstract: This 10 page paper considers the role of inflation by looking at the issue by discussing whether or not it would be right for The Bank of England to follow the lead of the Federal Reserve and lower interest rates. The second part of the paper then considers the effect the drop in interest rates in the United States has had on the currency exchange rate between the dollar and sterling. The bibliography cites 6 sources.
